In my project work with Public Health consultants in Brisbane, and as a Senior Project Officer with the Community Service & Research Centre (University of Queensland), I produced literature reviews and briefing papers on a diverse range of topics.

I have worked as a Family Relationship Educator for an NGO; and tutored in Social and Behavioural Sciences at the University of Queensland and Southern Cross University. Within the disability field, I have held middle management positions in two NGOs, to provide Children's services and Residential services. Earlier in my life I worked as a landscape gardener, and I still enjoy designing gardens and watching them grow.

My life experience has led me to understand that relationships based in equality, are profoundly meaningful.
